Spain is the first race of the "European Season," as it's known, so because it's on the same continent as all the teams, they can bring major upgrades to the Spanish GP and develop them through the lion's share of the rest of the season (aside from a Canadian detour a month from now, they don't leave Europe until September).

Large "upgrade packages" are brought here, but I don't think an entirely new chassis is all that common.

This one will most definitely favor his driving style much more than Webber's Ricardo's.

I don't think it's a new chassis in the sense of being substantially different to the old one. It's just a newly built version of the same thing, perhaps with some slight tweaks. The drivers don't drive the same chassis for a whole season.

Ah, OK. Thanks for the info! So we should be expecting large differences in his performance?

Hard to know, and of course everyone else's performance will (they hope) improve too.
